I authored "Life’s Tool Belt” & ”I will I am I was," and am an award-winning athlete, entrepreneur, chef/cook, motivational speaker, and a product of the “School of Hard Knocks” who teaches proven principles that work for anyone, in any situation at any time. After coaching athletes and small business owners for almost 20 years I decided I wanted to receive my coaching credentials and enrolled at SWIHA.

After graduating I enrolled and am continuing my education at the Penn State University in Children, Youth and Family services. As a powerful motivational speaker, I have entertained audiences across America with my experiences in business successes and failures, simple life, funny stories and a style that transforms and inspires people of all walks of life to take responsibility of their personal and business lives, overcome life’s little challenges, possible business obstacles and how to achieve success.

Wellness is a concept that is all around us all of the time. Wellness is whether or not we make a conscious decision to take a leap of faith and take care of ourselves for ourselves. I believe that extraordinary things happen when you align mind, body, and energy. Simply, those three words all work together.

My simple mantra is that loving yourself first and maintaining positive energy provides strength and endurance to not only make goals, but to achieve them. I believe that people fall short on their goals, whether it’s due in part to their health, relationships or professional roadblocks. Regardless of the reason, mental strength is affected when a lack of positive surrounding energy exists. If your mental strength fails, you’ll feel physically and emotionally drained and the ferocious cycle will keep going round and round.

My vision as a Mentor/Life Coach is to supplement a person as a whole. I have had experience for decades coaching different people, of all ages, for sports and athletics, professional and personal accomplishments with their families, friends and cohorts. The one thing that stands out above anything else is that once people become mentally focused, other details of their life fall into place and their motivation is tenfold.

I know the benefits of feeling physically and mentally fit and I have developed my philosophies to transition you into physical wellness with a program that will empower your fitness, mental and personal levels, regardless of your ability and/or knowledge base. I want everyone who walks through my doors to feel welcome…not just like another number.

When everything comes full circle in your mental and physical realm, you will wonder why and how you feel so energetic. It’s easy to answer; you just experienced the alignment of your own Mind Body Energy.

How many businesses have you owned?

I've owned or invested in many different types of businesses. Some were ideas that I started but never actually took it to the next step. Many were extremely profitable and grossed millions and a couple ending in failure and bankruptcy.

What were your most successful and not so successful businesses?

By far my construction company and my lifestyle event were both my most profitable and the one's I lost the most at. Due to the amount of contracts I worked with.

Do you regret any of your businesses?

I never regret anything I’ve done in my life. I look at all the ups and downs I’ve gone through in life as life lessons and try to not make the same mistake twice.

How do you deal with negative comments on the internet about you?

This has always been one of my more difficult things to deal with mentally when I started out in business. Not so much now, because I’ve learned that no matter what, in life you will not be liked by 100% of people and with the internet, people can hide behind fake emails or names and spread whatever lies on the internet they want. Your real friends know the truth and for those who want to believe lies, I don’t have time for those people.  When you are an employer, it’s inevitable you will have ex-employees that you might have had to fire or discipline and I had just that scenario with an employee. I had to fire him and upon doing so, that employee made up some horrendous financial lies about me. Frankly, it bothered me at first, but I know they aren’t true and simply say, look where these comments are posted, those sites speak for themselves and how despicable they are and I always openly talk about the situation if people ask, transparency is very important in my industry. It’s not always employees, I’ve had partnerships in businesses that were both successful and failures and the ones ended in failures, those same people have the ability to run to the internet and tell lies. I think what you have to realize is that, if someone doesn’t like you, be prepared for the possibility of them using the internet to spoil your good reputation. Always stay true to yourself and even though this partnership cost me financially and these ex-partners went to the internet to make up lies, I learned from this and now I’m that much smarter when it comes to future partnerships.

Do you get a lot of people make fun of you being a Life Coach?

There has been a few that have raised an eyebrow when I told them what I truly enjoy doing. It was a near death experience for me that I changed my entire life. I realized how important my family was to me and that what I have been through in life, both professional and personally, made me an expert to help others. There is nothing more gratifying than getting a voice message thanking me for helping get their life back on track or an email that goes on and on how helpful my sessions are on the success of their business.

How does your family deal with your businesses?

Juggling family and business is always a difficult scenario. When you are a small business owner, you work and work and you get the point. You have to learn to be happy at some point with your success and realize family is the foundation of any successful business.

What is it like working with celebrities and Hollywood?

I’ve been lucky to have worked with award winning producers and agents in Hollywood. I’m even luckier to be able to call them friends. When you get to work with the likes of Cindy Cowan, Joe and Harry Gantz and David Weintraub and singers like Jorge Moreno and Lori Michaels, I would consider myself extremely fortunate.

What was it like being arrested?

It wasn't the first time I was in handcuffs. When I was a kid, there was a time I ran with the wrong crowd and had done a few things that had caused being put in the back of the patrol car and dropped off at home. Again, when you own businesses there are times where in my instance, I was suing an individual and he was suing me and it came down to him making false statements and the authorities not doing their due diligence. I was lucky that when you do the right things in life, situations like this are a breeze to handle. The case was immediately thrown out and all parties that had tried to tarnish my reputation were sculled by the judge. Don’t get me wrong, it has left its mark with having to explain the situation and maybe that’s all they wanted to do was ruin my reputation, regardless again it’s a life lesson that I walked away from smarter than I was before.

Do you believe everything on the internet?

Personally I do not. I also don’t believe what others tell me personally about others. I have always made my own person opinion about others and have never allowed others to cloud my judgment.

What is it like to be an author?

I describe being an author, an incredible experience. I found it easy writing, I found it hard to edit it and for that, I was lucky to have an incredibly smart wife and a great professional editor. If you circle yourself with great people, great things will happen. It’s a great feeling knowing my books have helped others motivate themselves through their rough times.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to working with you in the future.
